💰
What does it cost?
We believe in being upfront about the investment so there are no surprises:
- National Registration: Youth ~$85/yr | Adult ~$65/yr
- One-Time Join Fee: $25 (New Youth members)
- Troop Dues: $15/month (Covers badges, gear, and program)
- Camping: ~$20–$30 per weekend for food and site fees
*We hold several fundraisers to help Scouts "earn their own way" and offset these costs.
🕒
The Time Commitment?
Scouting fits into a busy schedule more easily than most think:
- Weekly Meetings: Mondays at 7:00 PM to work on skills and plan events.
- Monthly Outings: Typically one weekend campout per month.
- Flexibility: School and sports come first—attendance is encouraged but not mandatory for every event.
🛡️
Safety & Supervision?
Your child's safety is our absolute priority. We follow strict BSA protocols:
- Two-Deep Leadership: Minimum of two registered adults present at every activity.
- No One-on-One Contact: Strictly prohibited in person, via text, or online.
- Background Checks: Every adult leader undergoes comprehensive background checks and YPT training.
